Little Gem Chalet terms and conditions of hire update on 18/04/2022.

please ensure you have read and agree to these terms and conditions before making your booking.

1. The Chalet is available from 3pm on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 9:30am on your day of departure.   

2. A deposit of £50 is paid by you when you book your holiday.. This is to hold and confirm your booking and is held until your holiday is completed. Once it is paid you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not keep to these terms and conditions you will lose your £50 deposit.

3. Your deposit will be returned to you within one week of your holiday end date providing there is no damage or breakages during your stay and you keep to these terms and conditions.

4. On payment of the deposit you will receive a confirmation of your booking and a receipt for your payment.  

5. The balance (full amount) of your holiday must be paid in full, four weeks before the start date of your holiday.  

6. If the balance is not paid on time, we may cancel your holiday and your deposit will not be returned.  

7. If you cancel your holiday more than 4 weeks before you arrive (before you have paid the balance) your deposit payment will not be returned.

8. If you cancel your holiday less than 4 weeks before it is due to start (after you have paid the balance) then you will lose the full payment and the deposit. 

9. You must notify the owner of the chalet as soon as possible by telephone or email of any damage or breakages which occur during your stay. 

10. If there are any damages or breakages during your stay you agree to replace or repair them or pay any charges which are incurred to rectify them or you will lose your deposit payment. 

11. Your vehicle is parked on the holiday park at your own risk. Please do not park your vehicle on the grass. 

12. Booking for all male or all female parties under the age of 25 will not be accepted.  

13. The person hiring the chalet must be over the age of 21 at the time of booking and must be one of the guests who is staying at the chalet.

14. You must accept all responsibility for any loss or damage to your own personal property during the occupation at the chalet 

15. You agree to keep the chalet clean and tidy during your stay and to leave it clean and tidy on your day of departure 

16. Bins must be emptied at the end of your stay and rubbish taken to the bins which are on site 

17. You agree to keep noise to a minimum and to respect the neighbours during your stay 

18. Smoking is not allowed inside the chalet 

19. The owner of the chalet shall not be held liable for the death or injury to any person on holiday at the chalet or any person visiting the chalet or for any loss or damage to any property or person however the loss, damage, injury or death may be caused. 

20. If the behaviour of any persons staying or visiting the chalet is deemed as unreasonable or antisocial for example, loud music, unacceptable noise levels or creating a disturbance you may be asked to leave the holiday park immediately. If this occurs, you will not be given a refund. 

21. You and anyone staying in the chalet must read and agree to the holiday park site rules and must also agree to these terms and conditions. A copy of the site rules are displayed in the chalet.

22. All persons staying in the chalet must be listed on the booking form. This is a maximum of five people and no more than five people can stay at the chalet. Once you have made the booking you must not sub- let the holiday to anyone else or advertise the holiday yourself. 

23. If you need to make any changes to the booking form you must let the owner know before the start of your holiday 

24. If you do not keep to these terms and conditions you will be in breach of the agreement you have made with me, your holiday will be will be terminated and you will lose any monies paid. 

25. By completing and returning the booking form and by paying the deposit of £50 you are agreeing to all of these terms and conditions. If you do not comply with these conditions you will lose your deposit and may incur further costs.
